I hit a pot hole the other day and I realized my exaust was a lot louder and it was coming from under the scooter. I thought the expansion chamber had come loose so I put my hand under there and I can feel air coming out from where the expansion chamber goes into the engine. At first I thought it was a loose bolt, but they are both in. Someone told my it could have been a spring? What spring are they talking about?

Some pipes have a spring or springs that hold the pipe to the header if they are designed as 2 pieces.
It could be a bolt that's not quite tight enough or it moved enough to rip a gasket or break a seal or something. Make sure the bolts are snug first. Hopefully one's just a little loose and the leak will disappear if you re-tighten it.

Well, I am not sure if there is a spring in there or not. I do see a space between the pipe and the engine where the air is coming out of. One of the bolts seem like its not in all the way, but its pressed right up against the pipe its really hard to get to. I guess the best thing to do is proly remove the pipe put some black silicone around it and tighten it back up? This happened after a few times if bottoming out my exhaust on a few bumps.

sounds like you bent your pipe if it pulled away from the cyl and you cant get it to tighten back up you may need to replace the bolt as it may be damaged
black silicon wont work at all you need one that is exhaust safe on the stella that has a slip joint exhasut and on the zuma i use permatex ultra copper but if you have a big hole you may need exhasut putty

The bolts are hard to get to on most scoots. Having a 1/4" ratchet, extension, 10mm socket, and 10mm combo wrench around will usually let you get to those bolts one way or another.
