It's a first for me. But when I was young if I wanted a scooter would buy the local paper or regional or national look through the ads phone up and check it out over the phone, if still available go look and buy or not. Many decades on here I am sat on carvoeiro in Portugal looking at ebay and buying a scooter in London already arranged collection when back in Wales Tuesday. 😊

Yes. And here in the USA I'm hearing that retailers are closing more and more stores. Amazon just might end up destroying Wal-Mart.
I'm not a Wal-Mart hater. But those super-centers, and the strip malls that grow around them, are so exhausting that I don't think I'll miss them a whole lot.
And maybe small retailers can make a comeback.
But I'm looking a long way ahead and all sorts of other things might come into play as well, I suppose.[/font

Saying that Asda supermarket chain owned by wal mart will deliver 60 miles from there shops so people don't even have to go out shopping now. Most towns have small population so not cost effective for them to move around here. 30 miles away our nearest big monster. My friend went to the states and traveled around and said most strip mals appear all the same bar one or two odd retail outlets. They Say Britain is 25yrs behind the states in catching up but I think the gap is closing. If it don't move, sell it and put a retail park on it and kid the locals it for their own good 😊

I remember having to look through loads of local papers, or auto trader for the type of bike you wanted. Now to can just get 20-30 of the exact model clicking a few buttons. Makes it so much easier buying. Selling is a totally different game. Loads of people giving you silly offers, or swaps.
