They just make a small incision maybe not even 2" long. Refer to neutering. NOT casteration which would be removing the gonads. Every person I know with a fixed male cat still has them Trust me your cats will have much better lives if you get them neutered ! They won't fight as much and they won't be as stressed out ! Because you live in the states, I would double check On "neuturing" tho. - somewhere down the line someone must of actually thought about what they were doing, and decided there must be a better way.... tho, don't get me wrong I'm sure you can find docstors that WILL castrate your animal. I would stay very clear if they even bring up the word. This kind of reminds me of the pit bull ban we have here in BC. so everyone goes to Alberta to get there damn dogs ears/tails cropped

Tats cool. My cats are evidently quite fond of their jewels, as they spend countless hours grooming. I do know that they have prosthetic nads for dogs. I know the Tom's need to be clipped but at the moment it's easier to give he females the pill and when I am able to walk on my own then we will probably set an appointment. I totally hate the way people cut up a dog to mkae them look how the ownr feels they should look, instead of how thy were born. I have owned floppy ears long tailed Rots and a Doby the same way. They were born that way, and they are burried that way.
