I picked up a diamond in the rough, 2002 Vino with 13,xxx miles for cheap. The wrist pin popped out and ruined the cylinder and piston so its going to get a rebuild. The bearing on the input shaft of the transmission is bad and the shaft is wobbling around so that is going to get replaced. The kick start shaft is also broken if anyone has a spare let me know, I am ready to buy. A few misc body panels and hoses are missing but for $200 I couldnt pass it up. I plan on installing a 70cc kit, Polini HiSpeed variator, possibly looking into gearing, Keisler stretch 3.50 rear tire, NPS50 rear shock with a 2 inch riser (for the stretch fitment.) I also have a scrappy dog scooters exhaust that came with it, does anyone know how good these are? I dont have any experience with that brand. Thanks for looking!

Sorry to be a party pooper, but I hope you got more parts for it than are shown in the pictures, otherwise you gonna need a lot of $ to get that thing rideable again. I have a Vino, they are small, light, quick and can be lots of fun. It should have the factory trenched cases so that is a plus. I bought another Vino at night one time in the similar shape as yours is in, taught me a lesson...NEVER buy a scooter in the dark!LoL! You mentioned the trans was questionable, do yourself a favor and sort that issue out first to ensure that it can be fixed. Sometimes if they have been run low or no gear oil the case is damaged, ask me how I know. Also I see CVT cover has bolts broken off around kickstart, that will be a problem if you do not have them all in place. If you decide to go forward, I have the kickstart piece you need and possibly some other stuff. Make a list and I will see what I can find.

Only 5 holes do not have broken bolts. I have a handful of other parts everything to make it run but they arent all pictured. Thankfully this is my 3rd Vino so I also have misc parts from the other 2 laying around. I pulled the input shaft and the gears are in great shape the problem I discovered was the bearing and for $10 that is easily fixed. I knew the seller of this bike and the condition it was in before hand so I knowingly got myself into a long term project. The only part I dont have is the rear panel (side panel 1, if youre looking on a dealer diagram) so I think I will leave the bike naked in the back and run some LEDs for the indicators and brakes. Do you have experience with scrappy dog exhaust by chance?

Sounds like you know what you are up against, this will be a cool project to watch. I may have a few body parts you can use.
I have not used one of the Scrappy pipes so I am no help there.

Some parts arrived. I got a Naraku 70cc cylinder, piston, head an supporting parts from scootertuning.ca. I also installed a Polini HiSpeed with 5g rollers. I am planning on getting some heavier sliders in the future but this is a slow build I have a new exhaust gasket coming and exhaust from ScrappyDogScooters to install, along with the blue Polini clutch spring and Gates belt.

This new bike did not come with a title I have a bill of sale. My intention is to flip it. It is totally stock and has low miles. This is where things get complicated. At this point I have 3 of these bikes. My original, the black one that this thread is about and the blue and silver I just got. The forks on the black bike are totally screwed. The tire is well worn and its clear that the springs or fork frame is broken.

Your Vino's are coming along nice! Someone needs to do a LC on one of these Vinos.
