www.gundogsupply.com/walther-22-cal-6mm-acorn-blank.htmlthis is just an expanple from one dealer just google 6mm starter gun ammo....and 22 caliber crimped end blanks or 6mm crimped end, all the same. very common online. they are used around here to train anything from hunting dogs to safe handgun handling. or to start races Sweet. I'll find a few cans of those so I can keep the container of ammo from gramps. What do you mean blanks? Like there's no powder in them? I'm not sure how REAL this thing would work if I shot at something. I've been shit by a pellet/bb gun. Is that close. Lol have you guys seen speeddeamons vid on YouTube with the tiny mini cap gun? It fires , and it has flare attachments. Pew-pew-pew hehehee gregg, are you gonna get some footage(omg, I almost spelt PHOTIGE) shooting some targets -not trying to thread jack. blanks have powder in them but no bullet (projectile). starter guns are used for various jobs, such as a gun shot to start a race, teaching a dog not to fear the noise or to teach people how to use a gun safely before turning them lose with the real thing. or scare a would be intruder lol. usually the barrels are plugged too.still an awesome piece you have there.

OMG I need to get more rounds for this thing. If the bullet doesn't shoot, I think it might be perfect for the huge bear that stole our garbage can lastnight. he was really big and he scared me.... I let him take the garbage container. I have to go look for it. USUALLY IT'S RaCOONs WHAT THE HELL. This is the first time a BEAR stole our garbage surprisingly. man I wish I had my gun license lol I guess this is why gramma gave it to me LMAO

Wait! How can they kill?
And yeah we are starting to see the bears often since there waking up now, but NEVER jacking our garbage can. Usually opening the door scares them away, but after I seen his massive foot prints on my porch, I was like you can have it LMAO I don't keep food in my garbage anyways. I leave it outside for them SO THEY DONT DO THISSS WAAHHHHH.
WOW so after we take our gun course, we need to send in applications for the actual license. This takes up too 3MONTHS, possibly longer. So all in all it migh take me 3 months to actually get my license. Then once you get your license to own them. Then you need to apply for hunting license which doesn't take long. Even tho the weapons are only legal for hunting, they still seem to make us go the extra unnecessary step of OWNING the guns, then USING the guns..... meh

Anyway, here's an article with two people that died from blank rounds www.nytimes.com/1993/04/01/obituaries/blank-pistol-kills-actor-the-son-of-bruce-lee.html

And don't forget boys and girls, blanks can kill you when i was around 12 or so i THOUGHT i found some 22 blanks and was goingto scare my friend when he walked in the door. i loaded the "blank" into an old antique octagon barrel single shot and when he came in the front door i pointed it at him and BANG!!! he let out a blood curdling scream as i laughed... well much to my surprise (and his) i realized he was bleeding through his shirt from a few different places. come to find out the "blank" i found was actually one of those old school crimped end rat/snake shot loads.thank god i was pretty far away and it was a #12 load so he survived, pretty pissed but alive. luckily for me it was the mid 80s and the e.r. doctors and police were not like they are today lol. after that i nicknamed him buckshot 😀
