whats up fellas just wondering how people lower and or stretch their scoots. i have a baccio vx50 and have seen them slammed before. just wondering how hard it is to do something like that. is there any special parts or swing arms you gotta buy or can you just start dropping things to the ground lol.

Stretching will require buying a stretch kit of some sort or fabricating your own parts or perhaps cutting stock mounts off and welding them back on in a new location. Mild lowering isn't too tough. I used a shorter rear shock and then changed where I clamped the front shocks in to drop one of my Tritons a bit. I made it sit level front and rear and was not pleased with the result. It looked good, but I think these scoots really need the rear to be a little higher than the front if you are into taking turns. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/board/41/suspension-frame-tech

im kind of at a lose here, i cut 2.5 inches off my front springs and it didnt do much. i can push down on the handlebars when i get on the scoot and the forks stay down or when i get off i csn pull up and they stay at normal height. if i justjump on and go it settles to about normal. im wondering if when i replaced the cap should i have pushed down to compress the forks and remove air 1st? or drained some fluid? for the rear i removed the swingarm and 2nd shock, because im ill and lost 40lbs itwas riding rough anyways lol any thoughts on the front?

You can probably remove some fluid from the front shocks. Sounds like they may be dampened. Can you slide your front shocks up into the tree? Also, some street bike drag racers use ratchet straps to hold the front fork compressed. youtu.be/sN3flUxAWdE
