Some guy wants to trade me a 150cc engine that supposedly has a Stroker crank in it. How just by looking at it would I be able to tell if it does have a Stroker crank installed? Just by extra base gaskets? Either way I would trade for the engine. just want to know how I would tell without pulling the top end off. And even if I did pull the top end off how would I be able to Tell?

Measure the stroke or look at the crank perhaps. Not sure that you'll tell from outside unless it has something obvious like a spacer below the cylinder. I guess you could try to fish something into the cylinder and attempt to measure the piston's travel in the bore, but it may be tough to be accurate enough to be certain; especially with the plug coming in at an angle.

even if it doesnt have a stroker in it you can never have too many spare engines or parts.
