they are up and running as the new scoot dawg forum Not really. I was part of the staff at the original ScootDawg. It turned into a place with a lot of issues from a lack of strong leadership IMO, but it was a great place at one point and created with great intentions. The site you linked to is the person or company or whatever that tried to buy what ScootDawg was. That's all. I don't wish to be a part of any drama or say anything negative, but as a past member and staff member there, I don't feel it's accurate to say that the more recent forum is related too closely to the original ScootDawg. It's sort of like if someone tried to buy 49ccScoot and then myself and our members weren't there anymore. You may have what we created, but you aren't us and members make a forum. Most of the old ScootDawg folks that made the site what it was have moved on to other forums or don't seem to have any online presence that I know of.

Scoot Dawg had a problem with members attitudes. There was so much negativity that I quit going there. I didn't want to be looked down on for riding a 50cc scooter. Some members would state flat out that if it wasn't 250cc or more then it wasn't worth riding and would insult your scooter and you. There were good members that would help out, but the snobs with attitudes made it a very unpleasant experience. That's why I LOVE 49ccScoot.com. Everybody has a Great attitude of camaraderie and helpfulness to other members. We also have a lot of fun here, but not at the expense of other members. I like helping when I can as so many others do. I am still learning about scoots even after 5 years of riding these mystery machines.
