well i had a great weekend
as some of you on other boards know i am big into boy scouting
and im the scout master for my sons troop
and the last few weekends have been filled with scouting
2 weekends ago was our spring camporee (big district wide camping trip)
last weekend we were in the memorial day parade and helped out at the ceramoney and did the flag retirements for the vfw
and just this weeken i did my ordela for order of the arrow
for those that dont know oa is the honor society of boy scouts
my son will be doing his at summer camp this year
it amounts up to a night sleeping under the stars and a day of silence cheerful service back to scouting
a lot of time for personal reflection
and then its home to get ready to turn around and head out early friday morning for a 4 day wilderness canoe trip
so there has been no progress pn project lcz in the last few days

I love to camp and fish and the whole wilderness thing so I have to say I am jealous of your fun.

i hope it does too ill have to check the weather for watersmet mi but i see we have a cold front comeing thru
that will make sleeping nicer and keep the bugs down

well we got back ok and i managed not to kill any of the boys
it was a great trip a bit of rain friday night into saturday morning but it was good
lots of wildlife eagles deer looks and some good fishing
bass large small and rock bass blue gill perch cropie and one boy even caught a small northern

Didnt find the Shi!!er but I did view the pics and have to say you had some amazing scenery around you to say the least. Was the water warm enough to go swimming?

no swiming the water was about 48 deg the shitter is in the 3rd from the bottem pic number 324
its just a little green seat out in the woods with a hole under it

Well you got lucky with the weather this weekend. Just warm enough and the rain passed on by south. We have to have some more sun to warm up the water around here too. Looks like you all had a good time. We have some very scenic lakes in WI  |

actauly that is just into michigan between watersmeet and the wi border
we had rain friday night into saturday morning and it was nice and cool
friday i think we barley broke 50
saturday was 58
sunday was upper 60s
and today we started to brake a sweat when we paddled out

It could have been the high 90's we had in the middle of the week Then you wouldn't have been able to get anyone to move :scared: |

Regardless of the weather other than a tornado, you had a setting for a perfect weekend and a great atmosphere surrounding you.
Just looking at the pictures makes me what to break out the sleeping bag and throw it out in the back yard and watch the stars. If you ever get down this way I have 29 acres of woods behind my house with a creek and all kinds of wild life around, you would be more than welcome to come and visit.
