so got this 2013 used taotao and by the end of july early august i'm planning to do the most ridiculous build. This is gonna be the most dankest of builds. I have a spare motor i gonna rebuild on from the ground up and bbk it. Lost of mods and custom items. i'm gonna update this thread as i go and keep you guys posted

You've got a couple of GY6 125/150 CVT parts in there. Make sure you're looking at GY6 50 or 139QMB parts, not GY6 125/150.

can they be interchangeable

Most parts aren't. CVT parts shouldn't be. Stuff like the CDI or stator may, depending on the scoot.

GY6 normally refers to the 125cc & 150cc scooters. Some also call 50cc scooters GY6. Have to watch that when ordering. I almost ordered some parts and caught that at the last moment.

i see i heard the exhaust is the same though

the exhaust headers are shaped a little different, i tried putting a 50cc on a 150 for a friend and the bends are different. the pipe hit the case and dipstick. gy6store has a decent stainless oversize header (50cc)for 30$ it has a 50mm round flange u can weld to, slide over or cut off and do a nicecustom free flow. none of the cvt parts are interchangeable (clutch, vari, rollers). the intake and carb are but not much else

well if possible is there a 50cc perfromace clutch that is as good as the ncy

im using an $89 malossi delta clutch and wing bell from scooterpartsco.com. once you get it tuned to your engine and driving style, it pretty sweet.

ive been happy with the stock tao tao so far. teally hilly where i live and it keeps the rpms up

i figure its time to stop throwing money into the the qm-beast motor and start on my 2ts. i have a kymco super 8 i got from pinkscoot, super 9, peoples 2t, and a yup lol
