The Reliant 3 wheeler 800cc of throbbing power. When younger we use to go round the mini roundabout at the end of Fratton rd by Goldsmith av on two wheels and if the car rolled you just got out pushed it back upright again and buggered off before the cops came as we lived close by. Things we did in our youth.

Thanks for that video,Mr Clarkson has also done the same in range rovers,I must have led a sheltered life or just missed all the robin flips by seconds as I,ve gotten bye.Much loved in England the Reliant robin has a place in history as Del boys chosen transport(Only Fools And Horses)google a box set at your peril, many pay homage to the show my fav is a tarmac firm who,s trucks tailgate says London,Stockport,Paris, but mostly Stockport. And the orange thing is a Bond Buggy seen in one of the 007 films.Another nice one we used to have a Leyland Octopus haulier that bore the legend "have gravel will travel" just makes you smile.

There is a big scrap yard off the eastern road. Not sure what it's called though.

I use to live in Besant rd which ran parallel with fratton rd behind the old co op. In fact it was old co op houses. Long gone now a car park and shopping centre. The only old road left now which joined Besant road is garnier st. To the end and turn left. I think Lucknow st was the other end. There is a big scrap yard off the eastern road. Not sure what it's called though.
