My wife and I just bought a Diamo AeroGT 50 - Total dog! 30mph max - lol...
Anyways what do you guys think about these? Ive never owned a 4 stroke before and im still fighting with my 2 stroke.
We got it for 650$ with 3000 miles on it.
It had just gotten tuned up and basic work done.
Any easy tricks with these to make them faster? what do you guys think of the brand? did i get a good price?
Just looking for general thoughts.

Here are some of the very basic things I did to help mine do a little better.
Checked for any restrictions (Carb needle, exhaust, CDI) Raised the needle up on notch. I used a sewing needle and cut the tip off and used it to drill out the main jet slightly larger. Installed a one piece K/N air filter on it and removed the old air filter housing. Put a brand new plug in it and only run the high octane fuel 93.
Doing this gave me about 7 to 10 mph more.

Thanks marshinman!
Ive heard that some of these may have trouble taking a BBK... anyone know what models are going to have issues?
Also there is a hose running from the head to the air box snorkel. before i remove this i want to know if thats going to cause any harm? or is that just an emissions thing that i should just plug at the engine end?

That tube from the head to the snorkel is the crankcase vent. It lets out the pressure and water condensation that builds up inside the engine where the oil is because combustion gasses get past the rings into the case. Hot inside the case + cold outside = moisture condensation inside the engine. It also dirties up the carb and intake so I recommend disconnecting it from the snorkel. It's okay to let it vent into the air but If you let the tube dangle out the bottom of the scoot it'll spray oily water vapor all over the engine and rear wheel. To avoid that I get a 3 foot piece of 1/4 or 3/8 inch automotive fuel line from the auto parts store and a small hose clamp to hold it on the head firmly and run the tube from the head up the frame and out the back of the scooter at the rear splash guard. The uphill arc will keep you from spraying a lot of oil out but the moisture and the pressure will leave and your scoot stays clean. You can see the tube on my 4T here: Bigger jet and a free(er) air filter should get you a little more power. Lowering the clip on the diaphragm needle might help too. Lowering the clip = richer and raising the clip = leaner

I just Googled your scooter. It looks sorta like a Triton. the rear end is a little different but it's pretty close. Diamo: Triton:

Dave thanks for that detail explanation of the carb adjustments. I tried to relay that information in a earlier post but as they say a picture is worth a thousand words. Good Job.

the more posts im reading the more scared i am that this thing is going to fail on me... is there any sort of stronger bearing or any sort of suggested adjustments to do before\during install?
From what i can read keeping the bike at low RPMs is a pretty good idea... so heavy rollers may be in order...

I think keeping the revs a little lower is a good plan. Mine failed quickly at just 2000 miles, but I ran it hard and stayed 8-9000RPM a lot.
