Anybody else like the 2.2/2.5 turbo cars of the 80's & 90's? 1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby, needs some paint. 2.5L turbo, balnce shafts removed, +40 injectors, garrett turbo, 2.5" exhaust, 3 bar map and Boost Button calibration flashed to the SBEC, FMIC, walbro 255lph pump. Needs some love but I can't help but like it as is.

I have an 86 Mitsubishi Starion, upgrade turbo, intercooled. It belonged to my son. Fun little car but it needs work. I think the Starion and the Dodge? Conquest are the same.

Ah yes the "Starquest"! Those are probably my favorite Mitsu product, my father's co-workers has one he frequently runs in the 10's. I still have a sweet spot for the 3000gt/Stealth...
I have an odd obsession with 80's turbo cars in general. Id love a fox body turbo mustang. Most of my experience is with the chrysler four bangers though, learned a alot from those cars and some have taken that garbage 8 valve head into the 10's with no spray. The 16 valve Lotus and Maserati headed variants are cool but out of my price range :/

The older cars were easier to work on.
I have throttle bodies for use with the OEM or Mustang injectors. I just wish I had the time left to work on it. I am getting old. I have too many other projects to work on and very little time, energy, or strength left.
