Well the title says it. Has anyone here ever used the spray can truck bed liner products? I am thinking of using it on my scooters bottom panels to avoid chips. If I use normal paint, I am afraid it will chip whilst driving down the road and whatever. I figure if its as durable as the normal bed liner paint then it may be a great solution. It will also helpnti hide slight imperfections.

I used it on my bottom fairing that I added to my belly pan. Did it for texture and it worked great. I also used it on the sides of my floor board where it had been scuffed up from a previous fall. Again, made for great texture. I also used it on the front floorboard of my truck and I walk on it every single day and it has held up just fine.

I've never had much luck with the can stuff, it's not the same as the spray in liner, which requires a special gun and high pressure to spray. Call a place that sprays bedliners, and see if they can spray some parts for you, during a bed spraying, if they are already setup, they probably won't charge much

I used some on an Isuzu rear bumper and it worked well but I don't remember what brand it was.

more durable than most paints, enamel paint is pretty tough too especially if it is two part with a hardener. and if it ever does chip its easy to touch up.

I sprayed the foot area and some of the inner fairings of my Let's with Dupicolor bed liner, has held up pretty well!

I used it on the floor boards of a Roughhouse I owned. It does tend to attract any dirt from your feet. Also be sure to prep well, I missed a little corner sanding and it came right up in that spot.

I bought this a couple years ago. I initially used it on my scooter work bench. It was a pain at first to put down. The wood would soak up the liquid part of the coating and it dried super quick. You had to work really fast putting it down. The following year I used it on a Yamaha Mule body. The contents of the container was still good after a year of sitting. The owners live-in troll friend thought it be a good idea to store fertilizer in the unprotected bed. Well she thought wrong. My truck is a 95. It had the bed done with RinoLiner. 22 years later its still in great shape. The only issue is the top of the tailgate where you slide things in and out. That's where the liner was starting to fall/rip off from all the abuse. Iv had a friend buy some stuff off Ebay. The kit came with the spray gun and it was a two part system. It looked great when to was first sprayed, but a year later it all started pealing off.

spaz12, that's the same stuff I am talking about man! Glad to hear a good review from a real person. I have a small compressor but don't have the cash for a gun, and a rhino kit. This entire thing is being done with rattle cans. Primer is RustOleum engine and exhaust both rust o leum engine and caliper paint. I haven't decided on a final color yet though..

Gotta hop in here. I've used bed liner on all kinds of things from vehicles to mowers etc... ... I have had way better luck with the spray on rattle can rustoleum as opposed to the roll on. The roll on roller that you get with the Kit lasted about 10 minutes before it crapped on me....good news is lowes sells extra roller refills for around $10. The spray on kind goes on way more even in my opinion. Here is a pic of my montero that I used bedliner on the cladding and bumpers. The first few coats I used the roll on...and it looked pretty good from a distance...but when you got close it was like ehhhhhh so I went back over it with the spray on and even stevens it looks great! The only downside I have found with bedliner is it's hard to clean. Also a good light sanding and cleaning with dawn will make the paint hold up way better!
