Hi everyone. I currently hail from the Biggest Little City in the World, Reno, NV and I picked up a 2014 taotao atm50 a month or so ago for $100 and a pint of McCormick's. 
It was rode hard and dumped a few times by a 16 yr old kid. Other than some scratched plastics and a rough looking seat it's not too shabby. I had to replace the ignition switch/locks, muffler, variator, drive belt and tail light as they were all broke... and drained the most god awful looking sludge from the oil drain hole so I am going to order a 47mm big valve bbk, A9 cam, carb and kickstart gear in the next few days as well so I'll hopefully have some success stories to share as well.
Found this site while I was searching for the various parts and how-to's on installing them. I have to say I've already spent 10's of hours browsing the forum, watching 90gtverts' videos and reading all the great threads from you guys/gals.
In the mean time I'm going to keep learning and having fun modding this thing out!
