Don't you just love some of the scams you get. I just had one from PayPal saying "Wе nοtісеd ѕοmе unuѕuаl асtіνіtу οn уοur РауРаI ассοunt οn 31/08/2017 аt 09:52 ΒЅТ nеаr Ѕсоtlаnd UΚ аnd wе'rе сοnсеrnеd аbοut іt." Funny thing is, that it was sent at 07:23am. Over two hours before I had made the payment!

I get 'em regularly from PayPal spoofs as well as emails allegedly from Apple about account issues. Some of them do a good job of looking legit, but a quick mouse-over will usually show them going to some other site with their links. Even if it says it's going to paypal.com, I go there on my own if I'm at all convinced that it could be real.
The other thing I get is people sending attachments that urgently need to be opened. Oh, and of course the ridiculous amounts of money that I've won or inherited that need to be claimed.
Phone scammers have been running rampant in recent years too. I just don't answer numbers that I don't know or reply to any questionable messages left, but a friend was telling me about one just the other day. He got a message about his credit and he's had some stuff going on lately so he called the number. Someone answered saying, "United States of Health Department". He's a very boisterous person, so he laughed loudly at them and hung up. He said curiosity got the best of him so he called again. What sounded like the same person answered with "IRS". In one last attempt, again what sounded like the same person to him answered as "FBI". How do they even get anyone being so disorganized? I guess some people will actually believe that all of these places just have an operator with a heavy accent directing calls to agencies that may not even get their names right.

I get those all the time on my hotmail account. Funny thing is, that ISN'T the E-mail address I use for Paypal.

My friend had one the other day. It said it was Barclays bank, and there was a problem with her card. Could she take a picture of both sides and email them the pictures! I guess they have moved into the smart phones now.
