New to this online discussion stuff but I been rebuilding amd fixing scooters for biddies and people around town... Anyway! working on this honda sb50 and I believe its the cdi that's failing and trying to find a 4 pin cdi because that is what's in it but cant find what I need online.... Everything gives me a 5 pin?

Are you sure you are not confusing the voltage regulator(metal housing with fins and 4 pin connector) with the CDi which is plastic and 6 pin connector and only 5 pins are used ?

CDI should look the one posted up there.
