This was done on a 49 cc Jonway scoot after breaking a shock. All it took was two shocks the same size, washers as spacers and 1 each 10 x 1.25 x 80 for top and 8 x 1.25 x 80 bottom and a little tiime. Second set of hands are very helpful. If you like the plastic back on just cut enough for the second shock.

It's a shame there's no cheap and easy way to use a shock on each side. Nice fix. That oughta hold. I'd think at that point the weakness would be the long bolts, so just make sure they're good grade / hardened.

you can realy make a bottem mount that is a lot stronger if you get some small dom tube to use as spaces between the 2 shocks and in the bottem u of the outer shock then hook that all together with some flat iron then use a bit more dom to space out from the two bolt holes near there and tie that into the other part of the brace i put some orange marks in the pic just to give you an idea then up top i would space it out with dom and then add 2 extra tabs to the frame and bracket them together

Thanks, I just order the better lower bolt and will replace as soon as it comes in. And will try the spacing. This was my first try. You guys make a good sounding board for my ideals. Thanks again.
