We have some narrow country roads, but that is something. Thanks for the interesting history. These parts, you might find an old log cabin, interesting rocks, and maybe an indian mound, but nothing like that

You peaked my interest so I watch the documentary on the frankesteins. Interesting to find out that dipple was conducting all kinds of experiments with electricity and bodies and Mary Shelly story of Frankenstein is based around the experiments of dipple. They even mentioned George the knight that slayed the dragon and how there is a statue of him in a near by church showing the dragons tail penetrating his armor. Your adventures down the winding road to the castle are really interesting, so glad you posted this.

Yes the statue of Geroge is about a Dragon and him, the legend is about the lindworm (just a local thing). Wikipedia says that the myth about the lindworm was based on the story about the "real Saint George" who actually was famous for his fight against a dragon. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint_George_and_the_DragonSo you can say that this story (with the lindworm and the young girls) is not based on true facts.
