It's a great place to learn, ask questions without derision, and try out ideas about our common hobby, scooters. And a relaxed enough atmasphere to vent out our daily issues in life. And just goof off for a laugh. I, and many others, check in daily just to see how everyones doing. That's nice :riding: Congratulations on a site well done :clap:

It's my home page.  Best scoot club on the web by far. I like the fact that you can use the F word sometimes and the mod doesn't get on your case. I got banned from SD like 4 or 5 years ago for sharing a dirty joke.  I think that the lions share of our members register just so they can read the library. I see 3 or 4 unfamiliar names logged in sometimes but they never post anything. It's probably the same on most forums. People do drive by's. Ask a question. Get an answer and then you never hear from them again or they return 6 mo. later with another question. Maybe these people actually have lives.  Me, I'm working on my "scootaholic" status. :riding: |

I got banned from SD like 4 or 5 years ago for sharing a dirty joke. You can thank each other for that. I really don't want this place to be dirty and so profane that it makes people uncomfortable. On the other hand, I'm not a huge fan of censorship. I have been very proud of everyone for keeping it reasonably clean so I don't have to do anything. To date I have banned one member for showing up and immediately name-calling and cursing everyone that tried to help him. Otherwise, everyone's been really cool. I really do believe we have the best members here. Anyone can claim that, but the ability of everyone to self-police and be polite etc... has been quite pleasant and says a lot. |

This is most defiantly the best place on the net for a source of knowledge when it comes down to the scoots. I had tried a couple other forums before joining here. The other forums for the lack of better words seemed to be stuck up, if you asked a question you either would not get an answer or would get a reply of "click on the search button and type your question in there". My first question I had here about decreasing the throttle on my wifes scoot, Brent step right up and helped out. This is a forum that other forums should try and model after. Congrads to all that make this forum what it is.
