My daughter killed a transmission on a caravan. It was the one flaw in them. I hear they were fine if you maintained them but I bought it with 100k miles on it and I don't think it had been changed more than once when I got it.

To be fair, I've never seen much wrong with them besides the tranny. I think they may have come with that Chrysler v6 that blows up like in the sebrings but not sure. I was never a Chrysler vehicle fan myself, but I work on cars for a living so I've got a negative opinion about almost every brand out there haha. Just ask me! They all suck somehow... Except for my Toyota truck. Absolutely no complaints besides the clutch being sturdier than my back muscles.

Don't mean to hijack again. My daughter also was rear ended in an 83 toyota truck, that was in 01 so it didn't take much. That was a great truck that just wouldn't quit.

My caravan had the tranny replaced at least once that I know of. We bought it used.
