I am a new owner of a 49CC scooter (Daelim, Korean brand). My main issue is that after a work day I have to kick start the scooter everyday. I start work at 7am or so and the morning it starts up right away and even though I have to throttle it a little for the first few minutes runs fine. After that I park it, and go to work for 8 hours. Fast forward to 5:30pm and I go to start it and it just work start no matter how much I want it to unless I kick start it. It kick starts everytime after a minute of pumping but it always starts and then it's fine.
Next morning it starts up fine until end of the day kick start. Annoying more than anything else.
Thanks!

Is it on a Battery Tender or anything like that when parked at home? Anything different that you can think of with conditions parked at home vs work may be clues.

When you say does not start, do you mean the starter doesn't spin (no electric start?) 1 Minute of pumping seems like a long time, how many kicks are you doing? Should only be around 4 at most.

Not on anything at home, parked inside a garage. Battery is brand new (1 month old) so I don't think it's that. It takes a good 15-20 kicks to start yeah, not four every. When I try to start it normally the starter will try but it never actually starts and I've tried giving it a little gas as well (sometimes I have to do that in the morning) but it never starts that way.
Then I kick it about 15-25 times and it starts and I let it idle for a few minutes and we're good to go. It's been worse lately as well, but its also been 20-40 degrees outside.

Is the float bowl full before you try to start it? You can check by opening the float bowl drain to see if fuel comes out. Most scoots now have a remote drain that is mounted to a CVT cover bolt. It's a hose with a spring covering it that attaches to a metal piece with a drain screw and a mounting hole for the CVT cover bolt. Be sure to tighten the screw up after you check or fuel will drain out at some point.
Just wondering if it could be leaking or not filling well and you have to crank a lot because it has to refill the bowl.
