Hello, I replaced my original camshaft with an A9 camshaft but now its lacking power and it wont even take off. It will rev up a bit but it bogs down i guess. I have a video with the problem. Can someone please help me. Do i need to buy other valves? www.youtube.com/watch?v=8IbLVR1mjzYIm pretty sure the timing is correct but maybe its a defect camshaft.

Try a couple of quick checks to see if perhaps some carb tuning would help. You can partially cover the airbox inlet with something (maybe electrical tape) to richen the mixture. Cover a bit and then a bit more and see if it improves. If so, it's lean and likely needs a larger main jet or other carb adjustments. You can also try removing the airbox to see if that helps. If that improves it much, it could be running rich and needs a smaller main jet. I should stress that these are not tuning methods, just quick ways to diagnose an issue. Not intended for much riding, only testing purposes. Carburetor tuning would likely be the answer if either shows much improvement.

(restricted..) on an 72cc bbk okay but bone stock? i guess you would be better off upgrading the cvt?

Never tried it. Worth the effort to find out if this is just a tuning issue though IMO.

Cuz stupid me installed the camshaft upside down at first and run the engine.... Surprisingly it did start but I guess it did a lot bad shit. I ordered new valves. I ordered 69mm valves because I've read somewhere they work better with the a9 cam. Let's hope it'll fix it!

do you still have the Original item packing box for your A9 cam ? i assume you dint take any photos of the cam before assembly... ?
fake or not i can tell..... i have finally A9 clone Cam for 139qmb. 1 of the most difficult item to identify unless Cam sprocket holed.......etc details as identification...
i assume your Kymco has the Kymco's own made 139QM engine ? i have looked W.S.M's etc for it, out of personal interest.......
are you using the 49cc C-head or 72cc C-head assy ? i assume you realised to get 69mm suitable Rocker arms.... ?

If you have 64mm valves, you can't just swap in 69mm valves. Easiest to replace them with whatever your head has, if the head isn't damaged. If I suspected any sort of damage there, I'd take it apart and see for myself or at least do a leak down test.

And here is my whatsapp if ya have a quick question just whatsapp me i helped out more people with problems. one was a bit more serious so i had to lap his valves. Whatsapp: +31 0616587232
