Hi everybody.
My name is Remco and i am from Holland and i am riding a Kymco Super 8 with a naraku 47mm bbk and a Touring camshaft. I also changed the variator to a malossi. I am here because i have some belt issues and some questions about the gearing of the super 8 but i will open a thread for that.

I am from Bergen Noord-Holland. And i do use the 90 main jet and no problems with my valve adjustment maybe because i still have the original cdi. i just wanted more pulling power not higher top speed

Iv checked a couple of my go to sources for parts and I could not find any gear options. If the engine is based off of the generic 139QMB(Chinese clone) platform, you might find something.

To get more 'pulling power', you would want the variator pulley to have a smaller diameter, keeping the engine turning more for each turn of the clutch pulley. Lighter weights in the variator working against a stronger 'contra spring' would keep the belt from climbing so high in the variator(keeping it smaller) and thus reducing top end a bit with higher acceleration(pulling) under load. If that's what you want. tom
