Your not gonna get 12HP out of that one without some serious port work and case work, matching, etc.. Im guessing on an A/C SF10 engine (guessing) maybe 10HP timed and tuned well with some port matching.

The diff between AC cooled and WC power isnt that much when it comes to power to weight ratio. The problem is, with the AC engine you loose 10-15% (even more sometimes) of the power as soon as the engine gets warm. Even when tuned. You dont have that problem with the LC engines. They generally can be pushed highly tuned harder, longer with less problems because of there better 'even' cooling capabilities.
You could get 10-12HP out of the Airsal T6 kit for that engine easier than the iron double ring kit IMO. Thats another problem with Kymco SF10. AC or WC, there just arent many good performance parts out there. Not off the self bolt on and go stuff anyway.. But whats "bolt on and go" anyway right?

Yeah i agree there arent to many kits. I would like to have a cruising speed of 50mph so what would be better a 70cc kit or the 150 gy6. Im thinking the 150 becauae of the displacement

Ide stick with the 2T and get it cruising 50 but im a light guy. My Kymco Cobra with the stock SF10 49cc will go 50mph with me sitting up, but wont hold it up hills and such. 150GY6,s have the torque in stock trim to get you there i think?...With less mods it will. But is it worth the work and money spent to do the swap vrs getting the SF10 engine tuned enough with the right kit to cruise at 50MPH without any trouble? I dont see it getting better mileage either way you go.....
I dont know man??? I guess i see your point but yet i just dotn see your point! Why not just sell the S9 and go buy a brand new 150 gy for under $900?

Cuz i love the way the s9 looks and the body, colors and seat height amd overall loook. I dont want to get rid of it. With a gy6 i prob wont leave it stock for long so with upgrades it would go faster then the s9 could ever go much less effortlessly too.

Dunno? Ive got 7g sliding weights in mine and a Leo SP3 exhaust... I can cruise 40 sitting up against the wind. 45 isnt much trouble, but 50 i havent seen in awhile? Of course im in town 90% of the time and cant stretch it out to 50mph. I think its about time to take a spacer out of vari? Ive got this belt plenty broken in now. What kinda of RPM,s are you turning at speed? 5grams weights sound pretty light for a SF10 engine.

Your running the same engine as i but in a heavier scoot with a heavier rider. I still think you should be able to do better than 42 downhill unless the engine is getting tired or something else is off? I was at 48MPH on mine today sitting up. That was the best i got on a flat.
