I was looking at this kinda stuff too. If you google around you can find some motorcycle magazines websites that rank those systems in the second link above. I used to use a beats pill (or two, they link) with a bike mount on the handlebars and that worked really well... at 50cc's. When I went to 150cc's the bike vibrated too much and shook one of those bad boys off doing 50mph. That's when I started looking at systems where the speakers were mounted more solid, like the ones in the second link. Alot of them use bluetooth, so you can still use your phone.

Yeah, the Bluetooth ones are the way to go. I'd look for one with both Bluetooth and AUX input. Nice thing about these systems on a scooter, is you typically have more space to work with if you mount them on the fairing or in the glovebox of your scoot. The AMP can always get mounted somewhere out of the way so it isn't visible, depending on what your looking for.

My scooters seem to be too loud for audio. I just listen to the road and the braap-braap.
A stock 4t would probably do great with some of those mp3 mirrors. There are also little tiny 2- channel amplifiers and little speakers that mount on the handle bars meant for motorcycles n scooters.

I couldn't hear them anyway, I have a pair of those phillips flite earphones, that fit flat in my ears, and I still can't hear shit, they make the plugz earphones, which look like earplugs, well they actually are, those seem to be my only hope of hearing music while riding, you aren't supposed to wear earplugs, but plenty of riders do, you can still hear horns and sirens

I would like to try one of the class d digital amps kits on feebay that are so cheap, and a couple speakers. Here is a 2x8w amp with bluetooth that should work on scooter battery voltage ok. ampThere are a hundred types of these amps out there even cheaper than this one.
