Say you dont really like the look of the vip but you do like say genuine rambler or a vino or whatever can you replace the vip plastics with any other scoots plastic ... Ideas, tips, tricks ...

You'd have to really want to change the style, because it would take a great deal of effort. I think with most Chinese scoots it would be easier and possibly cheaper to buy the scoot that you like the looks of. You'd need to deal with welding new mounts on the frame, chopping up or adding to panels so they fit your frame, and things like that. I'd say it would never be worth it, but then I'm not known for having attractive scoots.

Where would i look on the board for a walk through on removing vip plastic without destrying it as i have just done and think it mite need tobcome off in an order im not seeing ... Or maybe was just put on in wrong ..idk ..thanks

Someone would have to help you or you'd have to find a service manual for a Kymco Cobra or one of the Chinese clones. I looked briefly with no luck on the Cobra.

Yes. One weakness of the VIP is those pretty poor plastics. I've had to reinforce mine with a few home-made brackets. And they do come off and go back on kinda hard, don't they?
I have no doubt that 90GTVert is right in thinking that making other plastics work is possible but not very practical. I'd guess that a guy could make something work. But I'll bet that making it actually look pretty good is not worth the time and effort.

Dont mind the front but those rounded rear panels really need to go ...
