Hello... I have posted a few times already, so an official acquaintance feels warranted. After having drifted from TR for a year or so with other projects and life events as they were, it was time to get back into the Ruck for my GY6 upgrade. Wait... what happened??... where the?.. all my record keeping? Gone!? Ah, this is where the TR'ers have decided to squat. So much for my lost information though. Here's the Ruck a couple days after I bought it - 2009 with some 8k miles on it. I might have said "I love you" after only a day. On the trail Bringin' home the dirt Time warp forward 2 years. Sitting, waiting, ordering, calling, checking mail. Any day now. Cannot wait to hear this exhaust. This isn't exactly a build thread, but thought I'd share cuz I certainly ain't riding right now. If not wrenching or riding, this thread will likely become a long introduction. So hey

Welcome... officially! That's a great looking exhaust. What is it? I noticed the EDIT text about embedding images. You can post things with other hosts, but postimg is the only one built in.

Thanks everyone.
The exhaust is fabricated by Parts Shop Max - titanium straight pipe with burnt tip, exactly what I was looking for. I almost folded and went stainless before the titanium finally popped up in a search one day. Elation!
I'll have to mess around with photo embedding. Probably a simple syntax problem.
Cheers

Wondering, is it worth re-purposing the stock Ruckus ventilation valve with the GY6 engine? Any good/bad history associated with GY6 blow-by? Right now I still have the GY6 breather connected to the tranny case as the way the engine came, which I thought was odd. Seems to me you wouldn't want to feed that nasty stuff into the engine unless it goes back into the intake for another burn.

I find it difficult to separate very far from the OEM look. That's the theme anyway. Just a couple nicer parts here n there

Hey Fuzzy, where abouts in ny are you? Im in CNY and dont know anyone else that has a scoot! Syracuse. Westvale / Tipp Hill area to be a little more exact. One of my friends had a scoot; she sold it. Another friend has a scoot, but has charging problem; he is gonna fix then sell. So basically I'm outta scoot buds. You looking to ride, talk shop, or both? One reason for this upgrade is to expand the perimeter. I'm always up for a weekend ride barring any previous commitments.

Im from the ithaca area, im certainly down for both! Thats too bad about your friends scoots, my only scoot friend moved out to the adirondacks and opened a shop.
Once mine is on the road we will have to meet up and cruise
