Good looking scoot. I woulda ditched the trunk too. Just don't fit the sporty looking scoots.

ok so i figured out what im going to do to my scoot, first when i get it back i will be derestricting a few things and if i need to, a new cdi. then after that i will be putting my new lighting system on it, wich will be red led's under it and a light under my liscence plate. after that i will be installing my stereo system into it, i will get a video and some pictures up of all this once the project is done.

ok some new info, i went to the shop where my scoot is being fixed, he finally started working on it after 2 weeks of waiting. the restrictor by the variator i think it is(where the kick start is) correct me if im wrong, has already been removed and the variator has been upgraded as is from before i owned it, he put the pod airfilter on and it still bogs out when u give her gas, he is looking into a new exhaust for me because he thinks that it cant push out enough air after taking it in.

Lean bog. Means you need to upjet. Jet's control the fuel flow engine. Using a pod filter allows more air and less fuel into the engine, causing it to bog on throttle.
If I was paying someone to work on my scooter; I'd expect them to know this fundamental principle. An aftermarket pipe would likely cause it to run worse, without proper jetting of course.

What he said. Also, I have used a stock exhaust on a 90cc version of that engine and been 55MPH+. As long as the exhaust doesn't have a restrictor washer welded into the header or you haven't damaged the pipe and dented it in or something, I don't think you NEED a new exhaust. It sounds to me liek they either don't really know hat they're doing and/or are trying to get a nice fat bill together for you.
