My mate over the garage has had it sitting there for months and he let me have a spin on it. I got so carried away it was not till I was about 4 miles away on the back roads I realised I had no crash hat, no insurance no number plate infact bugger all. I had just jumped off my other scooter so have armour and gloves on. Wondered why the head was cold with only a hoodie on. Made me want to go and buy one.

You bad boy Milly. Loved my old MX bikes. It just became such a pain getting them to somewhere you could ride. A lot of the places we used to ride were shut down about 30 years ago.

So true, being from Aldershot area I had all the army land to use. Only had to avoid the military police but when living down Pompey way Naval Provosts were better at catching you and weren't to bad unless they got a lot of grief catching up with you. Sussex wasn't to bad between midhurst and Steyning way but seems all busier with walkers since last down there. What's it like up butser's hill way now.

Never been to the lanes up here. Apart from the snow a few weeks ago. You used to be able to ride on the army land between Hindhead, and Liphook. Bordon used to be good too. They closed it and made it a conservation area. 😕 The nearest place to ride legally off road to here now are Winchester MX, or Brick kiln at Alton. Still quite a few green lanes in Hampshire. Though a lot we used to ride in the 80's and 90's have been reclassified.

Wow a conservation area, Used to be a good place for biking round the bordon/whitehill/liphook area. I remember when the army had the old railway there when I was about 5 I think. I dont know the brick kiln at Alton but remember brick kiln lane there.
