Hi there 😀 I just bought a second hand MCI Riviera, which I think is also a Longia LJ50QT-2L Unfortunately it doesn't start. I have searched high and low for a manual and haven't found anything. Which is weird because it seems to be a popular scooter. I'm going to start basic troubleshooting today, but a manual would be very helpful. I don't have any experience with 2 stroke scooters. Thank you.

Most Chinese scoots don't have their own service manuals, so you end up finding something similar with the same engine if you can. There are Vento Zip, Vento Triton, and 1E40QMB manuals on the manuals page that may be of use to you. www.49ccscoot.com/manuals/manuals.html

I have downloaded them all and will have a look at them to get a better understanding. Another problem is finding spare parts. The only parts on eBay for the MCI Riviera are second hand. Where the best place to buy parts? I'm looking for fuel filters.

Just like the manual, you'll probably have to settle for more generic listed parts. Check your engine code. If it's something like 1E40QMB, then you can look for parts for that. Some parts will vary, so you have to be careful choosing and use pics and measurements as much as possible.
