Hey Reg, thanks for the link. I looked through the catalog and it has a lot of great parts in it.

They don't handle Polini but they do handle Athena, Malossi, LeoVince, Technigas and others. Xchange rate between US/Canada is pretty stable and usually near parity. Shipping from Canada can be a little slow for regular Ground. I had some trouble on trying to buy a belt from an eBay seller in Canada a couple of years ago. I kinda think he did not declare it properly or something. Anyway it got tied up in customs or something but I was using PayPal and got my money back. About a month later I got an eMail from Canada Post asking me what I wanted done with the pkg. I told them to send it back to the sender.

Shipping from and to Canada or Mexico is a problem right now. I deal with it every day. The problem is that customs want the following information and if any is left out then it is refused. 1) Currency (USD or Canada) 2) Place of origin 3) Material make up, rubber, plastic, cloth etc... 4) Value declared for customs, must match the value the seller shows on invoice. 5) Value for carriage (this can be from the invoice value to zero and will change the rate the seller pays for shipping)
I ship everyday all over the world, Ireland, Japan, China, Brazil and Canada is the worst of them all.

The major problem with shipping to Canada is the Customs guys can't deal with things they have to make a decision on. Low level inspectors are not authorized to make a decision, and if you leave ANYTHING to question, it get's kicked to a supervisor (who may, or may not know what to do).
If you clearly mark the shipment (of 50cc and under parts) as "moped parts" then it becomes "easy". ("moped parts" enter Canada duty free and are listed in the manual)

Canadian custom's must be the worst in the world, and I've sent more than 6,000 packages around the world in my time.

Any of you guys have to deal with Jamaican customs? These morons have got to be the most corrupt on the face of the planet. Unless I completely have to, I won't import a damn thing here. I have to import school books every month and the import duty varies greatly for no apparent reason. I suppose it's due to the side of the bed that the bastard gets up on that day. Wish I could get rid of the lot of them. <kicking soap box back into the darkness, steps out of the spot light, returns to seat waaaaay in the back>
