xpress, whereabouts are you,the aerox is a good scoot and highly tuneable but there,s no magic formula if your happy wrenching then maybe put it back to factory and start again one step at a time, testing as you go.From my own bank of cock ups that pipe may have come with some 3g rollers which won,t get you past a milk float at a red light. So can you be specific scoot does 0 to 30mph in what, gets to ?mph.

Tuning is something you'll have to learn and do by yourself. No one from behind their computer can tell you what kinda jets, rollers and springs you need when they have never ridden your scoot. When you say it's not running right, you are the one that has to go find out what the culprit is. The basics are all covered in the Tech Library. Read that and go out and find out, learn how tuning works. You know, thats something everyone has been learning for themselves. You can't bypass that knowledge when you want to build en ride both. 49ccscoot.proboards.com/board/9/49ccscoot-com-tech-libraryThe only thing you can do is make a very clear, very audible, very extensive video where the problem is clearly shown. Maybe from hearing someone can tell you what you need.

But i'd rather even be more careful. My suggestion is, use the stock contra spring. Leave the stage 6 spring for now. Put in stock clutch springs and 6gr rollers. Then, get your carb tuning right first! When you got that right you don't have to worry that your engine will seize up somewhere in the middle of your tuning session.
Also, make sure you got no airleaks! Those are evil! They really make tuning a pain in the ass! Because the engine is behaving so differently from normal so diagnosing problems is even harder! I dunno how serious you are, but i'd recommend to make yourself a leak tester to rule out airleaks!

+1 on the above
Only make one change or adjustment at a time or you won’t know the cause and effect.
Keep notes of what you do.
To tune correctly, you need a tachometer.
Start with the variator, weights, and belt. Then move to carb, exhaust and airbox. These are the basics.

Do you have a 70 cc kit installed already if not get one. anyone you mention will do. Put the carb on. to start use a 90 main jet and needle in middle position. For the variator kit on. Start with 6 gram weights and use white contra spring. read the articles here on how to tune a 2 stroke. get it running good then play with the weights and springs in the varaitor. Its just trial and error. Tuning a two stroke is like making love. At first you don't know what to do but with a little practice you will get the hang of it. Good Luck

Ok Aron and Zuma are very similar First thing did you have an aerox so I’m assuming it’s a euro spec pipe. Make sure to remove the restriction cone in the head pipe Second let’s look at the variator with the Zuma it likes 5.5 gram weights with that pipe and variator and use the medium springs that came with the pipe if you got it new With the Zuma we have the 14mm tk so no one goes to the carb right away we wait till the bbk to get into the carb Your oem carb should work just fine with the stock jets and that pipe but make the needle one notch richer

Just very quickly, that air box is a cheap copy of the O.E. the snorkel lets in way to much air for my liking.
