We were just chatting about VW's here at the shop. Had an old bug myself, 73 Super. I do miss that car, I just don't miss sitting at stop lights in Florida during the summer.

These can almost outrun a scooter hehe.... top speed is what, 60 mph?

I could squeeze 70mph out of one I had many moons ago when you could pick them up for £50. At that speed the rev limiter would cut in which I think was a sprung loaded device on the rotor arm. Not sure if that was the 1600 or 1800cc though
