i know on vista it was easy to use the clasic interface is this what i need to do it on 7 www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/i ended up with a dell 17r with intel i5 m480 2.67 with 6 gig ram 640 hd

Right click desktop and choose personalize, scroll down to the bottom of the themes and you will find a Widows Classic theme.

i saw that but its just a theme it doesnt give you classic menus i just got a bit of a learning curve to get used to the new menus and i have to find a new spell checker for ie for some reason ie spell doesnt want to work

ok scratch that i just realized i was runing in 64 bit ie and it wont work in 64 bit

Windowblinds is pretty much the same as themes, just ads a bit more flaire to the look. I never went back to the classic menus after Win 95, LOL. I used to use Windowblinds in Win 98 to make it prettier. I havn't poked around much in Windows 7, but I think the classic menu is pretty much gone. I did find several references when I googled the subject though. exactly what i was looking for thanks very much i have been busy moveing files from one computer and getting ready for camp i havent had much time to look into the features and how to tweak the new windows
