well sunday morning i take off to head to summer camp :nana:
yes at my age i still enjoy going to summer camp for the week

we will be at bear paw scout camp in mountain wi www.bpsc.org/mainpage/winter isnt that bad the best part is when its gone or when we take a mid winter brake to a warmer climate and all the locals are freezeing and we are running around in shorts |

yes it is
this year i will be taking 3 or 4 boys whitewater tubing and on a day canoe trip on chute pond and stopping at a place called slippery rock
its a natural water slide
and my son will be getting tapped out for order of the arrow and doing his ordeal so it will be a good year
and its my year to take 1st place in the scout master belly flop contest i have taken 2nd and third
and it will be take no prisoners on the scout master cook off
i will be making blackberry cherry cream cobbler in the dutch oven

 there were some issues but overall it was an ok week i took 13 of 15 boys on 2 diffrent high adventure trips one the white water tubing and the other was the chute pond but with that many boys we just hiked to teh 2 spots it gave us more time to play in the water we dominated the water carnival won 4 of 6 events took 2nd in one and 3rd in the other if the boys hadnt goten a penalty for running they would have won the camp wide games and beat the summer record by 4 minutes and i took 1st place in the adult leader desert cook off with by blackberry cherry cream cobbler |

yes it is nice to be home and i am tired as all get go i didnt get much sleep all week and the boys always seemed to disrupt scout master nap time

I know it's a lot about fun and games, but we know it's much more than that.
Reminds me of the guys who saw potential in me when i was a brat kid, had helped me find potential i never would have dreamed of.
You may never know how much you have improved the future life of a "man to be".
