Spark plug heat range depends on cyl+exhaust+carb+compression ratio combo. If you're running a stock pipe+stock carb a NGK 7 is sufficiënt, unless you're running super high compression (very thin base gasket). Then step up one range.
When you're running a Yasuni C16+21mm carb you better put a 9 in, unless you're running super high or super low compression. And there's every possible combo in between. So let us know what parts you plan to use.
Squish clearance should be set anywhere between 0.7mm and 1.5mm. Any lower and you will possibly run into detonition problems. You can go as high on squish as you want, just keep adding base gaskets. The limit is at the point where the piston crown is below the ports or the engine won't start anymore because of compression being too low (nearly impossible to achieve though).
I used on my aircooled Athena racing/Evo + Metrakit SP pipe + 20.5mm dellorto and 0,7mm squish (0,3mm base gasket) a NGK 9 which worked fine.

If you arent sure what type of plug to use, take the head off and screw in the spark plug. The tip shouldn't intrude into the chamber when fully tightened. I've had the issue of a poorly suggested spark plug type and it hit the piston on first crank, no bueno. Thankfully the damage to the piston was minor.

Usually a NGK BR8HS is what makers recommend at least it was like that on my Polini Sport and TPR Black Trophy.
Squish is like Lucas well explained somewhere between .7 and 1.5 should be good. I ran with 1.2 and 1.0 and never had issues. Most Sport kits don't include many gaskets so it's basically a plug and play as is thing on those cylinders.
