Yes to crankcase breather mods,, Ive read that the high end scoots(Aprilia,Gilera, etc) have very good flowing stock mufflers, perhaps you have a salvage yard that has them there for cheap, even one from a larger CC scoot would be better.. Making them fit will be a challenge tho. but I've indeed spotted some 125cc exhaust's even saw a 1000cc Honda cbr exhaust for cheap. xD think it will sound like a ricer tho. i kind of really like the sound from my Kymco agility. that's just one of those semi straight pipe glass pack exhaust's it sound's really heavy which is the sound I prefer. i am going to grind open the stock exhaust anyway since I have 3 of them now. and 1 of them is rusted through so I can't use it anyway. ill send some pic's of the guts. when I grind it open

Here are some pictures of the inside of the exhaust. And the one that I had turns out to be an glass pack exhaust combined with an chambered exhaust. Here are some pics how the engine looks now. And got one of the best stickers ever ;D. Know a better one? please tell me

In photo 2 it looks like removing the tack welded tube with the 5 holes in it will increase the flow greatly..

In photo 2 it looks like removing the tack welded tube with the 5 holes in it will increase the flow greatly.. The problem is tho that when you open it its kind of wrecked. But yeah that would already help. It would also help to dtill through the plate (from the rear exhaust tube)

Alright I got here running in the first time.. now I will have to tune it. and yes it also is extra snappy on the throttle because the belt is not on there but still she sounds fine! and what do you think of my stainless steel testing tank. xD

Sounds pretty good i built one myself last december tinkered on it for a bit played with the 24mm slide carb nut took it back down to mill the jug/head down bring the compression up some ,i ended up using a briggs short muffler worked ok but since compression is up now im going to require a larger head pipe i believe . But sounds good

Alright I have the engine under my scoot now. and oh boy oh boy it rides good. acceleration is great. However there is a bog around 6000rpm which is the ideal cruising speed but i still have to tune the carburetor. so I think I will put the gas needle a bit higher to see if that helps. it should but we will see. after a short test run. 5km of driving under which 500m a speed run. (still varying rpm for break-in) the engine did not exceed 170 degrees F(75 C) at the valve cover which is not too bad.
For starting I did add 3 batteries. so now I have 4 scooter batteries in my scoot. 1x5AH and 3x4AH first fully charged them all and then put them in parallel. before it just wouldn't turn over. now it just turns over without any problems.
And for now I have installed the stock exhaust. which does limit the power a bit. which is especially noticeable above 7200rpm so then its a bit hard to decide. silence or performance. For now I choose silence since it already is way too fast for what is allowed. does 74kmh(46mph) when it should be max 35kmh (21mph) So yeah its kind of an sleeper already..
But after all it drives pretty good. its allot calmer than the 50cc and its great having the posibility to get out the way. with a twist of the throthle ill send some pictures of the build so far. and especially the battery's

Alright i have mainjet 106 in there now and it rides fine now. already did an oil change however i do have a small problem/anoying thing.
When i start the scoot and when its runs and i give it some throtle it bogs so it isnt getting enough fuel. where could it be the problem? already replaced all the vacuum hoses
Maybe better to install a manual fuel valve?
Note: when i let it run for 10s and then give throtle it doesnt have any problem. so its only when doing a cold start

I have an small update, she runs great however the top speeds isnt that great. so at high revs it loses power (around 7800rpm) so top speed isnt more than 46mph which is the same as my 72cc is suspect its the big valve head. i made the ports pretty big so i guess they are too big. but ill leave that for now since it officaly is only allowed to run like 15mmph. so its more than fast enough. low speed acceleration is great!
