I already painted the scoot green. That way its a bit less female xD The front suspension was making squeaky noises so i lubed it all again. and painted it and then coated it in some rust inhibitor (kind of an wax) and added some new bearing's I've got an second hand 52mm cylinder (NCY) (bought it for 50$) And got an 52mm cylinder head on eBay with big valve's (need's port work since the casting is really rough.) (bought it for 35$) Now i still have to get 2 engine's 1 to keep stock if the big bore fails. then i would just need to loosen 2bolts and disconnect some lines and swap it out and the second one to upgrade the hell out of it. not looking too much for top speed but more for acceleration. Gy6 engines cost around 100$ (used) so that isn't too bad.

All the plastics are on again. only have to redress and tap 1 hole and that is for the front mudguard so not too bad. for now i think it doesn't look bad at all. i am thinking of painting the gauge's but i think that the paint won't really stay on. so yeah looks sweet already

What would you guys do for the airfilter? i was thinking of an unifilter.

First, I would cancel the DHL or knockoff and try a genuine KOSO from PartsForScooters or Malossi MultiVar. DHL and cheapies are pretty well known to fail in short order.
UNI is the popular choice.

Okay i ordered a full cvt kit from naraku for my kymco agility so i will use the malossi multivar in the retro scoot also bought a doppler kevlar reinforced belt for the kymco so i am curious how it will hold up Also finaly got a tuning kit from polini to tune the variator. Ah and some gaskets and seals for the 90cc build

Alright i got an 24mm carb instead of the planned 18mm Air filter is still coming And i ordered An jasil race crank so it should be a bit more reliable. Ah and an A9 cam an ncy cam is better but i kind of cant get them here in the netherlands Ive been thinking tho Or performance exhaust and have a bit more power or the stock and keep the ears. I kind of want both but i cant really find something suitable yet you guys have any sugestion? The ncy perf exhaust works great and doesnt rust so the material (SS) is great But the sound is a bit too loud and since its for an scoot whith a blue licence plate so is kind of isnt allowed to go over 32kmh so that means no helmet so thats why i am botered a bit with the sound. My kymco has an yellow licence plate so that is allowed to go 55 kmh with an helmet which reduces the sound quite a bit The new digital tach works great altho i am not sure yet if the fuel sensor works correct with the gauge but i will find out if the tank is almost empty

Alright i got an 24mm carb instead of the planned 18mm Air filter is still coming Hey, let us know how you like the 24mm carb vs the 20mm carb.
A guy I know who races scoots tells me to use a 24mm carb on my 50mm build.
I dunno, but a 80cc scoot he built for a customer is so close to my 150 it's amazing. I wouldn't have believed it unless I saw it myself.
That 80cc scoot was dead even with my 150cc performance scoot up to 50mph....then I start pulling away. (no replacement for displacement)

I dont have an 20mm carb so i cant judge that but yeah i will let you know how it runs. I got the 90cc kit so thats the 52.4mm kit so yeah i am curious how it will run

Okay I've recieved the air filter and the A9 Cam. The malossi multivar is now on there Togheter with a Gates Belt. Ive also been thinking about making an extra crankcase breather so just another hose pillar with some tube going as high as possible. Less resistance is more power. What do you guys think about this? And for the exhaust.. Damn there are allot of route's I can go. I kind of want an exhaust with some good flow but without the sound. The performance exhaust's are just a bit too loud for a scoot that shouldn't go that fast. (according to the law xD) so yeah I need it to be an sleeper. I am thinking of grinding open the stock exhaust and making an glass pack exhaust from it. Or do you guys have any other idea's? Happy to hear them ;D

Yes to crankcase breather mods,, Ive read that the high end scoots(Aprilia,Gilera, etc) have very good flowing stock mufflers, perhaps you have a salvage yard that has them there for cheap, even one from a larger CC scoot would be better..

Run a PCV, Do not run open crankcase. You will make more power with vacuum in the crankcase.

Run a PCV, Do not run open crankcase. You will make more power with vacuum in the crankcase. So running a check valve/ one way valve should also work. searched for some pcv valves but most have to be threaded in and I don't have much room to tap some thread. so I could make 3 hoses then. ill leave 1 open/stock just in case the valves get stuck because of moisture in the winter. 1hose with a check valve close to the head. (higher than the head itself) opening will be high in the labyrinth in the head to prevent oil coming out. and 1 at the bottom of the labyrinth where the most oil will get in. with the valve further in the line so it has some time to condense and flow back in the head. What do you think of this? and 3 hoses?! yeah well I don't really know what is enough. and I try to make it as fast as I can with these simple small mods so I can just as well make them matter. But I could also use some common sense. 50cc is 1 hose so 90cc would be 2 hoses ;D And i always thought that in the valve cover there was some kind of valve to prevent oil coming out but after a teardown it just reveals something allot simpeler xD. just a small path/labyrinth to make the path longer.
