I have a neighbor that has a Scooter with a D1E41QMB motor and i was wondering what type of oil should be used in this transmission? Its very simalier to the Yamaha Razz which I always used standard motor oil in mine. He put 80w90 Gear Oil in it and that does not seem right seems to heavy for the wet clutch this scooter uses. Plus does anyone know what type of motor this is? Honda Clone? Yamaha Clone?

I think the manual says 10W40. I dunno that it makes a huge difference, but I wouldn't run gear oil.
