Okay folks...I've been running across this scooter for a few days on Craigslist but I can't seem to find any information on it. The seller says it's a Quni Dino. But I can't find a manufacturer by that name and everytime I search for Dino I get some kid's ATV or the other. It's clearly one of the Zip clones (Hurricane et al) but some info would be great. Any takers?

Looks like the Vento Zip clone as you said, and with the mianrelli (some have a GY6 50 ). I don't worry too much about brand and model with most scoots I've never heard of, since there are so many brands and models made right with each other on the same assembly line and renamed later. Just expect typical Chinese quality.

Well...I suppose you know me by now...I just want to know if it has discs at the rear like a Zip Li. From the looks of it it's got 12 inch wheels so that would be in keeping with the mandate...LOL. Chinese quality I can deal with.

From what I can tell looks like standard drum rear. It has 12in. Not sure I would buy a Vento Zip clone the one I have was kind of cheaply made. At least compared to my Flash.

I also think it's a rear drum. I can't see any sign of a rotor or caliper. Should be able to see the rotor at least a little in the bottom right pic if it were disc. We;ve got other members here with Zip clones that seem to be happy. Hard to know. I will say one bad thing I notice about that one is that the headlight and gauges appear to be yellowed pretty bad. That probably means it's sat in direct sunlight a lot of it's life, which sometimes makes the plastics more brittle. Not to mention the headlight may not work as well as it should and the gauges might be harder to read.

Im not saying that the Vento Zip clones are just they just are not built at the same quility as my Flash. My Flash seems to be almost Zuma quility much much better than any Chinese scoot I have ever seen. Just stay clear of the early Baja SC50s which are also a Vento clone because they are really cheaply made and are GY6 motors.

At the rate at which things are going with my finances I may very well have to swallow my pride and just get something with discs at front and drums at rear. I know I can just up and buy a new scooter with exactly what I want, but that's gonna take funds that I don't have. Additionally, the scoot will sit for long periods. I would never get a brand new scoot and then torture it like that That's the first downside I spotted. The good thing is that I know I can buy both if I need them. But of course, the scoot itself would have to be a pretty good price to begin with.
