I had my cover off yesterday for a cleaning and inspection of parts. I picked up some graphite powder at autozone for $3 so i figured i would give it a try. After a cleaned everything up i put my rollers(sliders in my case) back in and tapped a little powder in the ramps, and on the variator bushing(that helped it spin noticeably better). After i put Skeedr back together Uncle and i went for a ride, he did the same to his scooter. I noticed a better "shift", and just smoother all around, with better take off! I figured it would help out but i really wasnt expecting that much. My stuff wasnt that dirty before either. I would recommend graphite if you havent already used it

Agreed. Putting anything sticky in there seems to be inviting problems and just doesn't make sense to me.

I tried graphite one of the times I was swapping rollers around. I didn't really see any difference. Maybe I'll try it again next time I'm in there.
