yup this is the rate the sig above you game. score is one to ten, give a number for the sig above you and get one next.
here is an example there is no sig above me 0 score.

Great idea, encouraging searching first instead of posting the same question over an over. I like it. The only reason I didn't rate it even higher is that the animation shows different forum software. lol
Interesting idea for a thread BTW.

I think rating each other's posts is counter-productive and inviting hard feelings and fracturing and side-taking and alienation of members and groups of members. The 'bone' business over at SD (ScootDawg) was a source of contention and was subjected to hacking activities. Let's just stick with social interaction activities through friendly diversions such as 'Word Association' and 'Scoot Tag'. This forum's strength is it's friendliness and willingness to assist fellow scooterists. Let's keep it that way.
As far as directing newbies toward seeking out help in the tech section before posting, perhaps there should be a message to that effect delivered to new members upon joining if it is not already done.

That's up to you guys if you wanna do it. I don't care either way, and so far I've been able to trust everyone to keep it friendly. It would be easy for some folks to be offended by a bad rating though. Scootdawg had a lot of folks that seemed to be around just to cause trouble and a lot of folks that got really upset over imaginary bones disappearing. I think the Karma/Bones was a bad idea anyway, and that's why I never enabled it here.
I don't even know what my options are for messaging new members on this software. I'll have to check into it.

well its just a game meant to pass time while waiting on a response when you have a topic up. as to keep you from flooding your own topic with more junk, that is counter intuitive to the production of a thread. i dislike checking my help topic every five minutes waiting for a response so this is a way to deal with it in a productive and friendly manner.
moving back on topic.
i give it a 5~6 it would be a bit higher if the titles linked to the build threads for each scooter in the list.

well... maby those people who would get so easily offended should realize that they probably shouldn't participate in a topic like this. i mean its only somebodies opinion.

Honestly, one part of a perfect sig to me is letting people know what you have. It's really helpful when you read a lot of posts to have a refresher as to what someone rides when they forget to say my scoot is.... in a thread looking for help. I've been rated and rated another, so I'll let someone else rate ososlow if they would like to. |

I'll give it a 5 out of ten. Nice car but it's not a scooter and it's annoyingly large.  I think that it should be required to have your scooter's engine size and type in your siggy. A location, at least what state or province you live in is also helpful for people hunting down parts or for people who need some help. Maybe they have a member around the corner from them who is a scooter whiz and neither of them know it. |
