how to tell if cvt belt needs changed?

I will be posting pics tomorrow that should be the poster-child of how to tell if a cvt belt needs to be changed..my mini sd adapter is at work. But man i wish shot pics of just how much rubber crud was coating the inside of my case. Put it this way- it was so worn that I prolly coulda rolled it over a pulley to remove it and i got the same scoot as vert- the vari HAS to be removed..
