Ok guys ive finally come to my 2stroke sences and habe dropped the idea of swapping to a gy6 150. And am going to add a malossi 70cc kit... I think because this is prob the best one for the kymco super 9ac. If there are theres or bigger cc kits let me know please as well as any other things i mighy have to upgrade besides the kit like carb, air filter etc. Finally how practical is the malossi kit for the street

I've mentioned it before in your other threads I think, but I'm not familiar with your engine so this is general info. I think the Malossi kit you're getting is a cast iron sport kit, so it should be very reliable and a good choice for a street scoot. Plan to retune/rejet the carb and possible need to do some tweaking, most likely roller weight swapping, in the CVT.

i have de-restrictied it up to the cdi. i was told on scooterinvasion that the stock one is good to 10,000rpm and my scoot shouldnt be running higher then that on a stock motor.
pretty much guys im trying to have a substanable 40-45 mph with still enough juice to be able to get out of the way if need to right now my wot is 40mph so i need something to help make that change to 1/2or 3/4 of throttle. if the malossi kit will really have a 8.5 horespower rating the i will do that becasue i gy6 150 makes 6hp.
with the new cdi and no engine upgrades would it change that 40mph wot?

that's true i will definitely get the rs2 if i end up going that route.
i noticed today when i opened up my oil cap that i couldn't see any oil down in the tube. is that something to worry about, the light on the dash for the oil low level isn't on but just wondering if i should top it off if threes any negatives to it being low like the light coming on while I'm riding away from the house. i have never put oil in it since i bought it from a guy second hand in the beginning of the summer what brad of oil i have no idea. can i just buy new oil any brand 2 stroke oil and just top it off?

I don't liek the idea of mixing different oils too much, so I'd probably drain the tank and fill it with something I can get regularly. You can remove the tank and dump it. That's the fastest way if it's got much in it and it's easily accessible. Otherwise you whould be able to remove the hose from one end and let it drain into something.

Just look at your oil tank and you should see a hose coming out of the bottom of it.
You don't buy 2T oil by viscosity. The main things you'll notice are conventional vs synthetic and injector vs premix.
Conventional oils are OK, but I greatly prefer synthetic 2T oil. I believe they protect the engine better, although you will pay a higher price.
Injector vs premix. Just choose the oil for what you need, some are fine for both, some aren't. The label should tell you. They are formulated different.
Whatever oil you choose, stick with it.

are there different weights like 10w-30 or is there just 2 stroke oil
Interestingly enough there is, but it should be of no concern to you, the light weight oil is marked "snowmobile" (and is good to -45).
