Hello everyone, so I don't know if this is the best place to post this.
So, about a month ago I purchased this: Pic 1 Pic 2
I got it for somewhat cheap as a project. I want to make it look good and run good, so that's what I came here to ask about.
So, the current problems are, from what I can tell: low compression/piston rings are completely ruined vid, the muffler hits the tire when the suspension is fully compressed, leaky fork seals, front brake doesn't really work (when lever is fully pressed, it barely brakes), most of the electronics don't work (only the neutral light, headlight, and back running light, fairings are in horrible condition, and it needs to go through basic 8&12K km service. Also, the back brake shakes, is that normal?
1. I bought this, which is the exact same as this, no? Also, do I NEED to buy a reinforced crankshaft? Plus, I currently have the stock carb, which is a 16mm phbn Dellorto. So, what size jet should I put for that 75cc? I currently have a 110 with a derestricted exhaust, which seems to be good, but I haven't done a plug chop. I will get a 21mm in the future.
2. I will replace the exhaust with this and it should fix the problem as the current mount is super makeshift.
3. Just watch some youtube video on how to replace fork seals, right?
4. Replace master cylinder as the lever is completely bent?
5. Figure out what wire goes to what and connect them.
6. Sand and paint fairings glossy black and put graphics on them, or where can I get new fairings?
7. Follow the manual on what to do.
Not only that, but I want to make it look good, so what else should I do other than the fairings and painting the frame metallic red?
