I recently installed a new exhaust and rollers in my eton beamer 3. The scooter will not budge over 39mph, however when I swapped the cdi with a friends it went past 42mph no problem. My cdi has the wires cut on it but it seems that it is still somehow restricted. Does anyone know of anything I can do to the cdi to derestrict it or know where I can find one that is derestricted??
Btw I tried scrappydogscooters but it seems they are out of business as they have not replied to any emails and their phone number is not working..

Fix the wires on yours and maybe you'll get to 43. Did you up jet your carb to account for the new exhaust? Did you tune your CVT or just put new rollers in? Brent has a really good thread here about roller weights. You may also find what you need here or Here. Keep us posted.
