how important is it to use motorcycle only coolant for an enduro motorcycle? have some regular 50/50 prestone on the side yet the original coolant is a deeper green color.

If you have silicate free long life kinda stuff, that may be OK. I think you'd want to avoid phosphates as well. That stuff can cause damage to seals. I think that stuff is kinda phased out now, but I may be wrong. Just like you used to have make sure coolant was aluminum safe, but most stuff these days is because so many engines in all areas at least have aluminum parts. Also, you don't want to mix various types of coolant, so unless you know what's in there it would probably be best to do a flush and fill rather than just topping off or top off with distilled water if it doesn't need much.

Another 1..got the bike incomplete Picked up a used clutch cover. Don't have a gasket so gonna use grey gasket sealer. before I put on the case how should the clutch engaging mechanism be facing....what's the rule?
