Hey all, just dug out the scoot and popped in a new battery and installed a manual petcock. When I turned the petcock on, the line below it didn't fill. I popped off the after hose and it seemed to work as I drained into a bottle. Is that air bubble between the filter and petcock, just that, like is needs to be bled (or just leave as is and let nature take its course?)
Just don't want to get stranded for something dumb like a petcock.
TIA

As long as your gas cap is vented properly and the petcock is open, gravity will do the rest and fuel will flow. I always have an air bubble in my fuel filter and it stays no matter what I do and I can run wide open for hours at a time and the fuel flows fine.
