I ordered autotech's kit, also did the BB bearing trick on the torque driver spring,BB's kept spitting out,so I machined an upper cup race and checked that there was no coil bind on the TD spring, dusted it with dry moly powder(thanks uncle sam)and now wait for the postman to deliver...

You machined a bearing cup? Sweet! I dont know what is keeping my bb,s in mine . lol, They look like they would fly right out but i guess they have just enough metal there to hold em. Good deal, you should notice a bit of a smoother shifting cvt, up and down shifting. What torque spring you using?

Its a white 1500 'cheapy' I got off a 4 wheeler ebay site..It needed to be stiffer,so I'm hoping the preload with the bearings will do it..

Got the Autotech kit in and started weight tuning, came with 6.5 rollers, shifted up too fast.Went with (3)4's&(3)5's,too light. Then threw in (3)10's,too light. Then (3)6's&(3)5's,too heavy, but close..Then (3)6.5&(3)4's,too heavy..??I'm wondering if these rollers are really the weight as advertised..Guess one must weigh them to get what one wants??

That is weird. I've never had any trouble with the weights being off, but it sure wouldn't hurt to check if you've got a scale for grams.

I weighed some sample rollers with my powder scale,(I like target shooting and reloading),then converted grains to grams, here is the results; 6.5=6.62,6=5.33,7=7.30,5=5.03,10=9.95,3=2.97, 9=8.94.Most are close, but as you can see a 1/2 gram here and there can add to confusion!!

.0-.2 is pretty typical with my results, depending on the brand of roller weights. The NCY weights that I got were all very close.
